Citizens holding federal arms licences issued by the Ministry of Interior and Anti-Narcotics can now complete essential administrative procedures—including licence renewals, record modifications, and duplicate card issuances—directly through NADRA's registration network.

This measure centralizes weapon licensing records into Pakistan's national biometric database, improving public safety and eliminating administrative delays.

What Services Are Available at NADRA Arms Counters?

Under the official directives from the Ministry of Interior, citizens can visit designated NADRA centres to access the following services:

  • Licence Renewal: Standard renewal services for active arms licences, as well as application processing for licences previously cancelled by the Ministry of Interior.

  • Personal Data Modification: Verification and updates of personal information on the licence card—including name, father’s name, photograph, current residential address, permanent address, and Computerized National Identity Card (CNIC) number—matching official identity records.

  • Duplicate Licence Issuance: Replacement processing for lost, stolen, or physically damaged original arms licence cards.

  • Centralized Facilities: Federal arms licence operations in Islamabad have transitioned to the Pakistan Aasaan Khidmat Centre in Sector G-9, offering services seven days a week from 8:00 AM to 8:00 PM.

  1. Retainer Detail Changes Require Prior Ministry Approval: A retainer is an individual legally authorized by the primary licence holder to possess or carry the registered weapon. NADRA emphasized that any addition, removal, or modification of retainer details must first receive official approval from the Ministry of Interior before the record can be updated at a NADRA counter.

  2. Document Verification: Applicants applying for duplicate licences or record corrections must bring their original CNIC, previous arms licence card, proof of approval (if modifying retainers), and supporting legal documents.
