Islamabad Police and NCCIA Job Application Deadline Extended to September 14, 2026

In a major relief for job seekers across Pakistan, the Federal Government has extended the application deadline for recruitment in the Islamabad Police and the National Cyber Crime Investigation Agency (NCCIA). Candidates now have until September 14, 2026, to complete and submit their online applications.

Federal Interior Minister Mohsin Naqvi announced the decision via social media, calling on young men and women from every province to apply and serve the country through these vital law enforcement and cyber security agencies.

What is the NCCIA and Why is This Recruitment Important?

The National Cyber Crime Investigation Agency (NCCIA) is Pakistan's primary specialized agency task force responsible for preventing, investigating, and prosecuting cybercrimes, digital fraud, hacking, and online harassment.

Operating alongside the Islamabad Police Law and Order Division, this new recruitment drive aims to strengthen the federal government's capacity to protect digital infrastructure while improving public safety in the national capital.

A total of 351 positions ranging from Basic Pay Scale (BPS) 05 to BPS-14 are available:

• Sub-Inspector (BS-14): 48 Positions

• Technical Assistant (BS-14): 15 Positions

• Stenotypist (BS-14): 8 Positions

• Upper Division Clerk / UDC (BS-11): 6 Positions

• Assistant Sub-Inspector / ASI (BS-09): 36 Positions

• Constable (BS-05): 174 Positions

Eligibility Criteria and Fitness Requirements

Candidates from across Pakistan can apply if they meet the following age, education, and physical standards:

1. Age Limit: All applicants must be between 18 and 25 years old at the time of application.

2. Educational Qualifications: Depending on the position, required qualifications range from Matriculation and Intermediate (FA/FSc) to Bachelor's degrees and specialized diplomas/degrees in Computer Science, IT, or Software Engineering.

3. Physical Endurance Standards (For Uniformed Roles):

   • Male Candidates: Must complete a 1.6 km (1 mile) run in 7 minutes.

   • Female Candidates: Must complete a 1.6 km (1 mile) run in 10 minutes.

Applications are accepted exclusively online through the National Police Foundation Testing & Assessment Service (NPFTAS) portal:

• Official Portal: Visit www.npftas.pk.

• Registration & Form: Fill in your personal information, academic record, and select your target position.

• Application Fee: A non-refundable processing fee of PKR 2,000 per post must be paid via PSID generated on the portal using online banking, ATMs, EasyPaisa, or JazzCash. If you apply for multiple posts, a separate application and fee are required for each.

• No Hard Copies Needed: You do not need to send physical forms or documents by mail. Original credentials will be inspected during the interview stage.
