Accessing quality medical treatment in remote areas has long been a major challenge for families living across Balochistan. Long travel distances, high transport costs, and severe weather conditions often prevent patients from reaching hospitals on time.
To solve this problem, the Government of Balochistan, in collaboration with the People’s Primary Healthcare Initiative (PPHI) Balochistan, has launched Sehat Dehleez. This new digital telehealth platform connects residents directly with qualified medical doctors for free, round-the-clock consultations right from their smartphones.
What Is the Sehat Dehleez Telehealth App?
Sehat Dehleez (meaning "Health at Your Doorstep") is a free telemedicine service built to bridge the healthcare gap in Balochistan. It allows citizens in all 35 districts of the province to consult certified medical professionals via live video calls or appointment slots without paying any fees or traveling to a physical clinic.
Chief Minister Mir Sarfraz Bugti highlighted that the service achieved immediate success upon launch:
791 total calls were received during the first 24 hours.
495 complete medical consultations were conducted successfully.
Patients from all 35 districts accessed the platform on day one.
Key Features of the Sehat Dehleez App
The platform comes packed with user-friendly digital tools designed for individuals and families:
24/7 Free Consultations: Access licensed general physicians and specialist advice anytime, day or night.
Live Queue System: Talk to an available doctor immediately or book a scheduled appointment time that fits your day.
Digital Health Profile: Store long-term health records, blood group details, past surgeries, and allergies in one secure account.
Instant E-Prescriptions: Receive verified digital prescriptions with dosage instructions directly inside the app after every call.
Family Care Account: Register dependent family members—such as children or elderly parents—under a single user profile to manage their health needs.
Bilingual Support: The app operates in both Urdu and English for effortless navigation.
What Health Services Are Covered?
The platform provides guidance across primary healthcare needs:
